Meet the Executive Leadership Team

Shawn Green
VP Product Design & Marketing

What is it you do?
I lead the development and implementation of product design and marketing strategies to deliver innovative, market-driven product solutions. I provide thought leadership and guidance within SAFCO and the contract furniture industry to communicate our design and product ethos to our customers in a clear and concise manner. By engaging directly with our customers and sales teams, we maintain a real-world perspective on the challenges faced across a broad range of markets and applications.

How long have you been doing it?
I have been part of the contract furniture industry since1991 and have held key product leadership positions with Steelcase, Knoll, and KI. During this time I have had the privilege of leading some extraordinary design and product teams in support of well over 100 major product introductions. The time spent within our industry has prepared me to guide SAFCO forward as a solidly positioned, mid-market brand with unique and innovative solutions that are inventive and visually compelling.

Why do you love what you do?
I am very fortunate to be part of the SAFCO team and to have the opportunity to leverage my experience to positively impact the business. What I do is not a job. It is a way for me to exercise my creative potential and help mentor developing leaders to ensure the future of this amazing industry.

Scott Windelspecht
VP of Operations

What is it you do?
I lead the Operations teams, which includes Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Engineering, and Distribution. I help develop and set the vision for our teams so that we can continuously improve upon how we serve our customers and our employees.  

How long have you been doing it?
I’ve been with Safco since January of 2020. And even though I have over 25 years of experience in operations leadership, this has been a great learning opportunity for me.  It’s been exciting to be part of such a dynamic team and to be so involved with evolving our Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Distribution strategies.

Why do you love what you do?
I love developing leaders and empowering people to solve problems. I find it very rewarding to help teams grow and achieve new milestones. It’s been a joy to join an organization with such a great culture and to work with people who are proud of their past accomplishments yet are also eager to adjust to the changing business climate.
