What is it you do?
As President, my number one responsibility is to build an extraordinary team of engaged, empowered, and energetic associates who are focused on bringing our customers’ product vision and needs to life. My passion centers around being a growth enabler and setting the strategic direction for the business.  Safco is an organization that blends a rich and storied history with a modern approach to creating innovative solutions for the markets that we serve.  

How long have you been doing it?
I’ve had the privilege of being a part of the Safco family since April of 2019.  For the past two decades, I have exercised my passion for spearheading extraordinary growth in a variety of organizations. I am confident in the foundation that has been built here and am excited to leverage my experiences to achieve new levels of growth and success for Safco.  

Why do you love what you do?
At Safco, we’re passionate about our customers. We’re constantly finding unique solutions to make their lives better.  What drives me most, in this ever-changing world, is to delight our customers by marrying the unmet or undiscovered needs of people in offices, at homes, or in schools with innovative design and product solutions.

Jennifer Weiss
VP of Finance

What is it you do?
I lead Finance for Safco, which essentially means I champion fact-based, data-driven decision making through a talented team of finance professionals. Our team is responsible for supporting Safco’s customers and staff to ensure we have timely, accurate information available to provide value-added business decision support.

How long have you been doing it?
I have over 25 years of experience supporting manufacturing companies through financial leadership positions. Nine of those years were spent at Liberty Diversified, Safco’s parent company. I’ve been with Safco now for two years.  

Why do you love what you do?
I’m highly motivated to make things better and love seeing sustainable positive results. That’s why I love partnering with customers and teammates to develop and implement creative solutions to business needs. I help facilitate these positive outcomes by developing teams that are focused on analysis and problem-solving rather than just centered on transactional processes.  

Sharad Mathur
VP of Sales & Innovation

What is it you do?
I lead Commercialization at Safco, which means I work with my teams to build a strong selling and service organization. I consider myself a storyteller, using product design and strategy to build Safco’s brand and create a differentiated message. But what I most pride myself on is mentoring, motivating, and empowering my teams to develop competencies and growth towards our commercial strategies.

How long have you been doing it?
I’ve been with Safco since November 2019. It’s been a fun and fulfilling journey for me to contribute towards building a better and stronger brand for Safco. I’ve personally been involved in major business transformations at multiple organizations, so I’m appreciative of being a part of Safco’s brand evolution.

Why do you love what you do?
I love mentoring and building teams to succeed—it’s the most exciting part of my work. I feel so lucky to be leading a team of such smart, spirited people at Safco. They are the ones who take my passion for team building and make it a reality as well as an enjoyable experience. I also really get excited about brand building and market positioning. To see a brand evolve and take new form is why I love what I do.

What is it you do?
I lead Human Resources at Safco where we consider our people to be our greatest asset. Our team of talented HR professionals provide organizational value as strategic business partners and culture ambassadors who influence talent, engagement, and organizational growth. We take pride in partnering with team members throughout their employment life cycle, enabling them through leadership and growth opportunities and providing the tools and resources they need to be successful in their journey with us at Safco.

How long have you been doing it?
I’ve been involved in Human Resources for over 13 years. Seven of those years have been with the Liberty Diversified International family of companies, with the last five years dedicated specifically to Safco.

Why do you love what you do?
Simply put, I love what I do because of the people. I’ve always enjoyed being able to connect the needs of people to the evolving needs of an organization. There is no greater reward for me than being able to see team members grow, develop, and reach new milestones during their time at Safco. We have a fun, passionate, and dedicated workforce who are truly committed to teamwork, servicing our customers, and living our shared values of Caring, Innovation, Trust and Excellence each and every day.

Scott Windelspecht
VP of Operations

What is it you do?
I lead the Operations teams, which includes Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Engineering, and Distribution. I help develop and set the vision for our teams so that we can continuously improve upon how we serve our customers and our employees.  

How long have you been doing it?
I’ve been with Safco since January of 2020. And even though I have over 25 years of experience in operations leadership, this has been a great learning opportunity for me.  It’s been exciting to be part of such a dynamic team and to be so involved with evolving our Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Distribution strategies.

Why do you love what you do?
I love developing leaders and empowering people to solve problems. I find it very rewarding to help teams grow and achieve new milestones. It’s been a joy to join an organization with such a great culture and to work with people who are proud of their past accomplishments yet are also eager to adjust to the changing business climate.
